Tan-I Temple, Miami, Floria
Origin of Tan-I Temple
Temple-Host Sophy Jianglin and her husband, Mr. Lambardi, residing in Miami, have been spreading Tao in Florida for more than ?? decades. Numerous gathering are hosted in her home-based Temple. Sr. Master Lee, Temple Host Jean, and other staffs regularly flew to Florida once a month for Tao ceremony and greeting for all Tao members.
There are many Tao members further located on other side of Miami, approximately 4 hours of driving distance. Temple-Host Sophy Jianglin miraculously manages to host events on regular basis between her home and taking care the Tao members who are far away. Renting prayer Halls from other churches away from hometown became a must. Driving long distance to conduct Tao ceremonies and/or class was a norm for many years for Temple-Host Sophy Jianglin.

Spreading Tao was not an easy task. In addition, to arrange meeting places for bridging all members required a lot of effort, devotion, and time. The meeting locations, often were prayer halls inside of church, were by reservation and availability. She, however, managed all well. For heading each prayer Hall meeting, alters, cushions, light oils, incenses, candles, cooking spices, and food ingredients were must-carry items in the rear seats and trucks. Each meeting location would vary due to availability, not even mentioning the rental fee had gone up over the years.
The most challenging task of all was to have a same location where all members can gather to learn about Tao and practice ritual on regular basis.
It was decided in 2015 finding a fixed place would be a must to help Temple-Host Sophy Jianglin to continue her Tao affair in Miami, FL. On 11/08/2015, a holy temple, non-profit organization, was established at: 10751 SW 38th St, Miami, FL 33165. Sr. Master Lee, Jr. Master Lee, and other staffs attended this initial established ceremony.
In Jan 2016, during Sr. Master Lee's trip back to Taiwan, she learned Elder Lin bestowed a name to this holy temple as "Tan-I Temple" (pronounce as Tan-eye). Tan-I literately means Heavenly Love.
Tan-I Temple is a branch of Tanshen Temple (Bao Guan Jan Der). Jr. Master Lee is currently overseeing this location for Tao Ceremonies and classes.
