Headlights as Our Moral Consciousness
In the dark, driving car without the front headlights is dangerous as roads can’t be seen. If the headlights are being covered by layers of dust, it is almost like driving blind.
Our moral consciousness is similar to car headlights. Living life without moral consciousness, our life could be in darkness. If we are covered by temptation, material desires and wants in our lifestyle can be dangerous. It is important is align our moral value with God. Constantly, align our behavior and words with righteousness. By doing so, it will enable us to light up our path even when we are in darkness.
Check point! So how do we align ourselves with God? Anything we do, ask ourselves the following questions:
If God appears in front of us, will we get embarrassed or will we be appraised:
If God knocks on our doors and wanting to come into our house, would we want to welcome God immediately, or say "hold on, wait...", let me clean up my house? Is there anything we don't want God to see?
